Ron is in charge of the website content; I just do the implementation in code. I could do the implementation with an hour or two of work if someone gave me the the call signs.

Is there much interest in GMRS? Is it something many club members are interested in? I will note this as an agenda item for either this or a future meeting.

Would it be feasible to add in GMRS callsigns to the club roster?

Im thinking that might motivate members to include GMRS licencing to there status.

I think ours is included in this. Our Serial # EAMT-1140006.

In some EU2200i and EB2200i generators, the screws used to assemble the fuel valve may loosen during use, allowing the valve to leak fuel. If your EU2200i or EB2200i generator is affected, stop using your generator until it has been repaired by an authorized Honda dealer. Replacement of the fuel valve will be performed free of charge. Find an authorized Honda Generator dealer here.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for getting back to us. We'd love to have you participate again this year as it is always a popular session with our attendees.

With it being so close to the show, we can fit you on the schedule for testing on Sunday morning, and then a workshop in the afternoon (it won't be right after each other as in years previous). We will update our contact info to have you as the point person and let you know the details of times and location in a couple weeks.

The only thing that we are trying to figure out currently is where to put the trailer. We are working on it, but I'm off for two weeks, and will confirm when I return.

Thanks for hosting the HAM radio sessions again this year!

Bill and I acquired the storage unit from Silver Saddle and moved the CARC stuff from his property into it. We went with a 5x5 unit since it was big enough and cost less than a 5x8 unit. Besides, a 5x8 unit wasn't available...

I paid for 6 months of rental for the unit and the lock. The total cost was $245.55. I have all of the receipts and paperwork and the keys to the lock. The unit costs $37 per month.

The storage unit number is C20. The unit can be accessed from 7:00AM to 7:00PM Monday through Sunday.

Phil, I talked with Scott Martin this morning. We can store the CARC trailer at his home.

For the rest of the CARC stuff at Bill's place, Scott is checking with the owner of the storage unit facility behind the Silver Saddle stores. He knows her and hopes to get a discount. Will keep you posted.

Elect President

Good morning Phil,

Here are some ideas for agenda items:

   Field Day location

Overland Expo: Will we have a display presence? We will test Sunday morning.

Need organizer for Big Brother/Big Sister run in early August

Do we really need a storage facility and the associated cost?

Shortage of help for our events - especially Stagecoach 100 mile run
   with added bicycle riders.

Bruce's equipment donation (Janice has this)

We were going to have a presentation about what to expect at public service
events at the April meeting. Is that still on? Such a discussion may encourage
new members to help. The loss of Sandy and Bob, Bill and Marylou, Bill and
Julie, and Tom and Dawnelle will leave us critically shorthanded. We also lost
Vince, WB7UWW, who was our SkyWarn net organizer in Page; Vince moved to Utah.

Our club(NADXA) will participate in the LL event by having 4 special

Grand Canyon

Here is where WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! Tomorrow, at 3 P.M. we will take
our club trailer out to the Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument
cinder hills area, and set it up to start operating on this Saturday,

Phil and Janice,

I asked Ian for specific hours at Stagecoach aid stations Cedar, Boundary, and
Hull Cabin, which will be significantly expanded due to the addition of a
bicycle event. Here is his reply - Joe:
Hi Joe,

I'm working on these times for you now. Can I come to the Thursday meeting?

Is it still at the Sizzler? 7pm?

We can discuss all of these challenges in person, if that works for you all?

Thank you!
Ian

Here is some information about electric vehicles and also about inexpensive 3-D
printing hands mostly for youngsters with symbrachydactyly.

Joe

Electric Vehicles

Mouser Electronics provides this article about charging electric vehicles:

https://www.mouser.com/applications/evs-meeting-charging-station-demand/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=elq-19.0403-techapp-q1quarterly-en&utm_source=eloqua&subid=4d25764b28be4dc1b917cac9361065e5&utm_content=5870147

For example, a home, level 2 charging station will provide 15 to 30 km of range
for a one hour charge. Most owners charge their vehicles overnight, which helps
the electric utility, whose demand is highest during the workday.

Also consider that several hams have spent considerable time and money reducing
the interference from their electric vehicle drive system to amateur radio
equipment. This problem is most serious with high frequency installations.
Also, it appears after market LED and HID lighting systems can be especially noisy:

Entering RFI Prius into Google or other search engine will return interesting
results about electric vehicle noise.

Here is a helping hand that can be made with 3-D printers:

or enter e-Nable into a search engine.
